Mike Huber has been a member of the United States Equestrian Team since 1978, where he finished 13th in the World Championships. He was a member of the 1980 Olympic Team and won the individual Gold Medal at the 1987 Pan American Games, leading the Team to a Gold Medal. In addition, Mike represented the U.S. at both the 1990 and 1994 World Equestrian Games.
Mike is a past President of the USEA. He served as an Olympic selector from 1996 to 2000. He was Chairman of the USEF Eventing High Performance committee from 2001 to 2008 and begins 2009 as the new chairman of the USET Olympic selectors. He continues to serve on the Eventing High Performance Committee and the USEF Eventing Technical Committee. Mike is also a USEA Level IV ICP Instructor. Mike owns and operates Gold Chip Stables in Bartonville, Texas.
